Content Management
Magento offers unprecedented flexibility and control over the catalog management, shopping cart, order tracking and shipping tracking. But CMS capabilities are still in its initial stages. It’s a great challenge to blend this powerful ecommerce management system with full fledged content management capabilities. The possible solutions are to merge existing content management systems like Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress with the magento implementation to provide the user to managing site content. But till the time this venture has not reached a stable state. That point of time we came up with the idea to develop a content management module in Magento and have been working really well for all the projects we have implemented so far.
Custom Design
If you ever did a research on existing online stores powered by Magento, you can see an unbelievable similarity on the layouts. Yes, most of the implementations are mere logo changes. But our customer requirement was always innovative. But this was the major reason for us to do full fledged research of Magento architecture.
Menu Management
Most of the clients want to modify and reorder navigations frequently. There is no default mechanism in Magento for this. We built a Menu manager for Magento where admin can manage navigation text, link and sort order.
Media Management
Magento have only built in support to upload product images. For uploading related media items like specification documents and banners, site administrator have to rely on FTP. We developed a full fledged media manager for Magento. Admin can upload, delete modify any media items. Grouping of items is a very usefull functionality to deal with huge number of media items.
Forum Integration
Magento doesn’t have a built-in forum facility which is almost indispensible functionality for online stores. We have developed a flexible forum module which has all features of advanced forum modules.
Careers Module
Again Magento lacks this functionality which was there on every other integration request. We have extended Magento with a generic career module where administrator can post jobs and track applications.
Payment gateways
We came across few queries with custom payment gateway integration for online Magento stores. Initially it was hard to make it out. But now we know Magento more than any other system in this world!
